Our story begins in 1989
ICE Interactive is part of the wider Image Centre business. Image Centre was founded in 1989 servicing the high-end pre-press market.
In 1994 the company showed foresight in establishing Image Design to encompass both graphic design and the emerging digital media in the form of CD, kiosk and internet solutions. From 1995, the company began designing, developing and hosting database-driven websites.
In late 1997, Image Print was launched after the acquisition of a sheet-fed printer. Image Centre had now completed the integration of a multi-channel service offering covering creative origination through to printed delivery.
In July 2008, Image Centre was purchased from the founders and investment partners by ICE Capital Partners Ltd and a group of the company’s senior managers. With a staff of over 100 covering pre-press and printing, magazine publishing plus ICE Interactive’s design and digital/interactive resources, the business is one of New Zealand’s largest and most capable multi-channel solution providers.
